Hello!  If you do not know me let me introduce myself.  My name is Tim Wallace.  Like all of you I have different callings in life.  Here are a few of the many.  I am a husbann1525606179_165d to my wife DiAnna.  I am a Dad to my daughter Bailey.  I am a pastor for Cross Brand Cowboy Church.  I am a cowboy for the fun of it.

My calling is not to just be a husband on paper, but to be one that loves his wife.  She makes that job pretty easy!  My calling is not to just be a biological Dad to Bailey, but to be a Dad that loves, guides and teaches.  She makes me proud every day.  My calling is not to just be a preacher, but to be a pastor that loves God and his people and leads the church to expereince amazing things as God works.  And finally my calling is not to just be a cowboy.  But to enjoy the cowboy lifestyle (as much as I’m able living on 5 acres with no cows!) and to use this passion for God’s purposes.  This blog is called Tall in the Saddle because when you are riding with God, you have confidence and strength…so you are sitting tall in the saddle.  But every now and then you get slumped over or even knocked off from those low hanging branches…don’t you?  Yeah sometimes they come out of nowhere and whap!  In other words life has its blows.  So my prayer is that God will use these devotions, articles, thoughts etc to help us sit tall and confident as we ride with Him.
